European heritage makers week: send us your story
11 Apr 2018
Are you under 18 years of age? Do you like exploring? Do you enjoy sharing experiences with others? Become a storyteller: share your cultural heritage with the rest of Europe and take part in the European heritage makers week in Strasbourg!
A pilot initiative as part of European Heritage Days, the European heritage makers week was launched with the aim of giving young people a voice, encouraging them to discover the history and heritage around them and take part in the Europe-wide celebrations marking the European year of cultural heritage.
Stories can be uploaded to the European Heritage Days website by parents or legal guardians together with digital images (pictures, drawings, paintings, photographs, graphics, illustrations and cartoons). Following a national pre-selection, a European panel of judges will select the ten most interesting stories and will invite the #HeritageMakers to visit Strasbourg for a special event in November.
