Concert – Ceremonial and Divertissement
Piazza Principe Amedeo, 7, Nichelino, TO, Italia
The Accademia di Sant’Uberto proposes a concert, the result of years of research on the hunting horn, an instrument born in the seventeenth century in the Baroque courts, with a contemporary development in the musical field.
The performance of a Missa Sancti Huberti, a score of the musical fund of the bishop princes of Cologne, kept at the Biblioteca Estense in Modena, showcases the education of a prince and its political, religious and ceremonial meanings. The alternating work-school programme trains students in Baroque music, according to an integrated cultural process, and promotes the residences of Europe.
The concert will be held in Turin on 28th April at 5.30 pm at the Stupinigi hunting lodge.
