Launch of the EU Programme Europe for its Citizens’ Town Twinning and Town Network competitions
Via del Collegio Romano, 27, Roma, RM, Italia
The aim of the event is to present the EU Programme Europe for its Citizens’ Town Twinning and Town Network competitions (the candidacy deadline is 3rd September 2018).
The funds which can be applied for – which will be illustrated in the occasion of the initiative – aim at co-funding projects capable of developing actions and initiatives coherent with the Europe for its Citizens programme’s aims and priority themes via international partnership such as debates on the future of the European Union, the challenge of Euro-scepticism, immigrant integration, solidarity at times of crisis and the European Year of Cultural Heritage. These projects will be implemented above all by means of twinning agreements between European cities and the creation of European city networks and other local authority levels.
The event primarily targets town councils, provinces and regions but also non-profit organisations, foundations, twinning committees and cultural/research/educational bodies including schools, universities, associations, etc.
On the occasion of the information day, best practice cases will also be presented in the context of previously selected projects whose representatives will describe their experiences.
Participation at the event is free, registration is obligatory.
