Launch of the invitation call for the “European Remembrance” project of the EU “Europe for Citizens” programme
From 01/11/2018 to 30/11/2018, Roma
The launch will present the “European Remembrance” strand of the EU “Europe for Citizens” programme to its potential beneficiaries (whose deadline for submitting applications is 1o March 2019).
The “European Remembrance” call aims at co-financing transnational projects which valorise the principles on which the European Union is based, i.e. freedom, democracy and respect for human rights. Projects may reflect on totalitarian regimes (e.g. the Nazi fascism that caused the Holocaust, Stalinism etc.) or on other crucial moments in recent European history. In this context, the annual priorities established for 2019 will be illustrated (including the 40th anniversary of the first direct election of the European Parliament in 1979, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the 15 years since the enlargement of the European Union in Central and Oriental Europe).
The event is aimed at a wide target group, including non-profit organisations, cultural associations, survivors associations, associations of victims’ relatives, foundations, twinning committees, cultural, research, or training bodies, including museums, schools and universities, research centres, municipalities, regions, etc.
On the occasion of this information day, good practices will also be presented relating to projects already selected, whose representatives will share their experiences.
Participation in the event is free, but registration is compulsory: https://www.eventbrite.it/o/ecp-italy-ministero-per-i-beni-e-delle-attivita-culturali-12806892069
